Yeah, I know. An old joke whenever we get a lot of rain. But since we've been back to New York, we've been getting A LOT of rain.
Pamela is in Florida on a relative rescue mission. She'll also check on Drift Away while down there, which is a good thing.
It rained all day yesterday, and will rain most all day today. There's no working on our land. And with Pam down in Florida, it leaves just me with the dogs. Crazy, bored dogs. What could possibly be worse? How about a Warbler trying to get through a window. Not for a few minutes, nor a few hours... but from 8 AM until 9 PM. It tried to get in continually through the day.
Did I mention before that Olivia is a German Shorthaired Pointer? A bird dog? Here, see for yourself what I had to endure for fourteen friggin' hours.
The bird in question is a Magnolia Warbler. It's not too common here in the Adirondacks. And with good reason. It's nuts. Here is a photo of it. It's not a good photo. It's hazy, because the window it was trying to get in is hazy.

I also tried to take some other bird pics. Normal birds...
I think this Phoebe has a bee.
But how can you concentrate when Olivia is freaking out for literally hours on end? Which sets off Chevy. Which even sometimes sets off Ruby.
I'm watching old westerns on DVD since we have no television, all while Olivia and sometimes Chevy are flipping out over birds...
Arrrrrgh! Pamela! Come home!
