This was on Friday. It was a bit chilly, but sunny. A good day for a small fire.
The dogs love it on our land. Olivia the Pointer spends all her time hunting in the woods. Ruby (pic below) stays pretty close to us. Chevy splits up his time doing both.
I think these might be brick top mushrooms. I'll have to grab one to do a spore print to make sure. If it is, it's edible.
I love eating wild mushrooms, but unless I get a 100% positive ID, I don't. Too many mushrooms look similar to others, and many of the others are poisonous. Your liver dissolves, and then you die.
