Pamela went took Jeremiah the Horse down by the Ocklawaha River this afternoon where she's seen a foot print and hair about seven feet up in a tree. She came back with Sasquatch's chickens. He's going to be very angry.
Judi and Pam named them Laverne and Shirley.
So now, between Judi and us, we have nine dogs, three cats, a horse, and two chickens. That should make the trip back to Bleecker even more interesting.

If you take that floor out of that dog cage, you can put those chickens out on the lawn and let them catch the bugs in the grass. My grandfather's chickens were free range and had run of the farm. They spent a lot of time on the lawn, going for bugs n the grass. Downside, chicken poop in the lawn, everywhere. No sliding into home base on Grandma's lawn...
ReplyDeleteI forgot to mention the Upside. Biggest and tastiest chicken eggs I have ever seen. The grocery they sold them to, constantly "complained" they didn't fit in the extra jumbo sized cartons.
ReplyDeleteGo ahead and eat Laverne & Shirley before Ya head north.....
ReplyDeleteso Dave, will you be carrying the chickens on the roof of the RV when you head north?
ReplyDeleteLOL, m/v Erika's comment brought forth an image of the opening shot of the Beverly Hillbillies. Only this time with Granny and Ellie May both holding a chicken...
